Vipond has one of the largest dedicated sprinkler fabrication facilities in North America (opened in 1975) in Mississauga, Ontario with additional facilities located strategically across Canada to support our customers’ requirements and construction operations.
Our Mississauga Fabrication facility is ISO 9001:2008 certified and is accredited by the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA).
We are proud to incorporate some of the most advanced sprinkler fabrication technologies available. Our welders are approved by The Canadian Welding Bureau and our fabrication equipment includes welding stations complete with semi-automatic welding machines, plasma pipe cutters, and hole burners.
We currently utilize the most technologically advanced double-end grooving stations and in-line groovers that allow us to groove pipe up to 12 inch diameter. Our threaded area is equipped with doubleheaded Landis and fitting make-on machines for the most accurate joint, every time.
Vipond currently fabricates for Canadian, U.S. and international customers with a production capacity of up to 10,000 heads per week. We stock both black and galvanized pipe from Schedule 7 to Schedule 80 along with a vast array of fittings, couplings, parts and pieces. We are partnered with industry leading manufacturers providing us with access to products located around the world.
